Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, a musician's daughter born in Mexico, was born to a music-loving family. She was raised listening to classic Boleros from the past as well as classic romantic songs and the Ranchero style. Ana loves tangos as well opera and dramatic performances. She was taught by her mother to sing. However, she started more intense singing lessons through Flavio Belcerra at 16 when he was a renowned Mexican opera Tenor. The musical training continued with the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and later in the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was part of a variety of opera choruses and chamber ensembles. She sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. She's a frequent solo performer at private parties and events and performs traditional Latin American Music. as a music teacher and musician, she is committed to various community-based projects because of her love and love for music. Ana was a former participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands (as well being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is privileged to have the opportunity to be able to share her love for traditional Latin American music. She hopes that this will inspire younger generations to keep the tradition alive.
